What an amazing satisfashionable day I had on Saturday 29th March the sun didn’t have his hat on, but that never dampened the spirits of the first launch day of Style in the city.
To commence This is Edinburgh Style in the City their was an official launch on 5th floor House of Fraser where I presented to some awesome bloggers of Edinburgh what we where doing and what was going on around the city; I also showed them some of my favourite Spring Summer trends from the collection at House of Fraser West End including Rainbow Brights,Simply Whites,Candy Crush, Botanical Gardens and Fresh Lace.
This is Edinburgh – Style in the City is so exciting as its about celebrating style in Edinburgh and getting locals out exploring new shops and areas that they may have forgotten or never explored and about discovering hidden gems.
Heres some of the bloggers from the event. L-R Cait from WaywardDaughter, Rosie Steer from Everthing looks Rosie, Louise Arnot from Love from LouLou, Caitlin Clements from Edinburgh Now.
My role as street stylist and blogger is to find the stylish people of Edinburgh and interview them about Edinburgh style and shopping, then Mark Farvis my fantabulous photographer takes their photo to show off their best sides.
I wanted my prey to catch my attention and spark my interest , who was making their own distinctive look; who’s breaking some fashion rules, who’s defining their own sense of style and adding twists to the latest trends or classics , who looks cool and made me have style envy . The indie chicks and lads or the high street honeys and bees. The designer dolls and kens I was out to find them.
Here are some of the stylish folk we found in Edinburgh
Amazing first week of Style in the City make sure you all dress up next Saturday for us.
