I was so lucky to be asked to take part in Fashion Face Off at Livingston Designer Outlet last saturday it was such a great day and I had so much fun finally getting chance to shop for myself ! It was also great to meet some fellow Scottish Fashion Bloggers and see what different ways they are styling outfits in their own signature looks.
L-R Charlotte from coloursandcarousel, me from satisfashion, Scott from scottnothingtodowithyou , Amanda from honeypopkisses, and Tatyana from secretlittlestars.
We were all invited up onto stage to have a quick chat with the lovely Suzy Makin – Celebrity stylist to bands such as Blue and Atomic Kitten then we were handed £150 gift vouchers for Livingston Designer outlet to go wild and bring back our choice outfit from all thats on offer at Livingston designer shops including brands such as French Connection, Ted Baker, Kurt Geiger, Tommy Hilfiger and many many more. The stock available is past seasons stock at fabulous reductions but you can still pick up current trends at a fraction of the price than on the actual high street.
I have a couple of weddings coming up so I wanted to use my voucher to create a look that would suit a wedding . I spotted in French connection this cream floral dress and fell in love – the length is perfect for me as I don’t really like my legs out but in summer I don’t like wearing tights so found this to be perfect for my “legs out phobia” and a light summer dress. Plus I have since worn this dress loads of ways of which I will finally do a styled up blog post to come soon 🙂 Then in Ted Baker I wanted to add some floral colours to my cream neutral dress so found this great little jacket again I was thinking of different ways to wear it and thought it would work with my new amazing Levis Revel jeans too so not just for a dress or occasion. Whilst in Ted Baker I found an amazing colour pop belt so added this to the dress which brought out the colours in the jacket and also defined my waist perfect for my hourglass frame. Shoes these Lady Gaga Show stoppers were a complete bargain from Lipsy at Kurt Geiger playing into the metallic trend this season. I then added a bag from Daniel Footwear to pop another colour into my look.
JACKET – TED BAKER – £85 / DRESS – FRENCH CONNECTION – £23 / BELT – TED BAKER -£25 / BAG – DANIEL FOOTWEAR – £14.99 / SHOES – LIPSY AT KURT GEIGER – £12
I had such an amazing day – here are all of the bloggers in all our outfits. Thank you so much to all the lovely people from Livingston that I met on the day and thank you so much for my new exciting clothing. I have been converted into a bargain hunter at Livingston Designer Outlet and will definitely be back. Thank you so much to Levis for my amazing pair of Revel Jeans this has converted me to these jeans too !!!!
Thanks Livingston Designer Outlet
